SHEBANG Issue 5 led by Charl Landvreugd

Issue 5 of SHEBANG will start in October, led by guest curator Charl Landvreugd. The fifth SHEBANG chapter ties in with the program line of Amsterdam 750: 'A new map'. What does the future of the city of Amsterdam look like and how do we shape it together?

Artists and researchers in particular have the perfect ability to make non-existent realities transparent and tangible. The movement of Afro-futurism is a good example. Alternative future realities also offer a much-needed perspective in a world where the future paints gloomy scenarios based on ecological developments, among other things.
