Salon Maxivive with babytomato

On July 3, we welcome Salon Maxivive back to SHEBANG, this time for a special evening with writer and DJ Lanre Balogun from babytomato.

Salon Maxivive is a reciprocal initiative by Nigerian fashion designer and activist Papa Oyeyemi and an ongoing platform for dialogue and bringing together makers, thinkers, and communities through salon gatherings. This evening, a dinner interwoven with fashion and music will unfold.
Nigerian jollof rice will be served and shared with a diverse mix of creatives, cultural workers, and community members. Together with Lanre Balogun, Pappa Oyeyemi invites you to an evening of exchange regarding fashion, music, identity, and how personal and societal experiences can be expressed through rhythm, performance, and the body. To foster meaningful conversations, new insights, friendships, and future collaborations through encounter.
