RIDE OR DIE - an evening light journey by Sjoerd Vocking

An evening light journey to conclude the residency of artist, inventor and architect Sjoerd Vocking at SHEBANG Amsterdam.

"After weeks of building, thinking, sweating and staring at glowing plastic and ideas that only light up at night, it's time. Time to show what grew in the twilight zones between art and technology, light and dark, control and surrender.

This evening I open my workspace at SHEBANG for once. No white cube, no strings—but a submersive light landscape. A ritual. An abyss. A joke. An ode.

Ride or Die is the final piece of my residency, but also a start. A first taste of light objects and installations that follow their own laws. Whether it's design, art, or something in between—that's up to you.

Come. Look. Feel. Stay. Have a drink. Maybe even a lamp.
